Friedensreich Hundertwasser – Architecture Models

Ostholstein-Museum Eutin The Ostholstein-Museum in Eutin showed architecture models of buildings, which were created or redesigned by Friedensreich Hundertwasser from the eighties. The exhibition assembled models of the Church of St. Barbara in Bärnbach/Styria (Austria), The Green Citadel of Magdeburg, the Thermal Village Blumau – The Rolling Hills/Styria, the Hundertwasser Tower in Abensberg (Germany), the Dorint Hotel & Resorts Tenerife, the KunstHausWien/Vienna (Austria), the District Heating Plant Spittelau/Vienna (Austria), the Kawakawa Public Toilet (New Zealand), the Hohe-Haine (High-Groves), Dresden (Germany) and the Ronald McDonald House in Essen. Photographs of other architecture projects, writings/texts by the artist and film material completed the focus on Hundertwasser’s concerns for an architecture in harmony with nature. |
