The Hundertwasser-Path guided the visitors in a very special and new way through the District Heating Plant Spittelau. It introduced the most important activities of the artist, his engagement and concerns in the field of environment protection, urban ecology and his efforts for a waste-free society as well as for a more human architecture in harmony with nature.

The path documented also the function, contribution and the significance of the district heating plant especially for the environment and ecology of the city of Vienna.
