709/II Terrace House with Car and Pedestrian Traffic Separated under Arcades – architecture model, 1972, Model builder: Ingolf Schaufler

The Mönchehaus Museum Goslar exhibits four architecture models, which Hundertwasser presented in the Eurovision TV show "Wünsch dir was" (Make a Wish) on February 27, 1972. With the models he showed several options for the afforestation of roofs, in keeping with his concern to return territories to nature which have been taken away from it by building construction. Moreover Hundertwasser’s model design of a house with grass and forest on the roof (Eye-slit House) is presented. It was developed for the film Hundertwasser’s Rainy Day. Information texts and photo reproductions complete this permanent presentation.
